"Hi, we're Errand Boy"

October 4th (Distortion), 10th (CBTGs), 11th (Distortion), 17th (Junction's), 18th (Turner's), 21st (CBTGs), 24th (Eastern Edge), 25th (Ship Inn), 31st (Ship Inn)

what the hell! this is a busy, busy month. so far we've only got one show in November (on the 21st). we did get most of September off though, is this some sort of karma?

sometime after Christmas—probably in late January/February—we're maybe going on a mini tour around the bay with Amusia, and then we've got a big journey to Toronto planned with Map to Temenos in June

you know what that means? merch merch merch! Bryan's worked out some sort of thing with a guy at his work to get a loan of a wacom tablet, hopefully for stickers (and/)or shirts. and there's a lot of stuff in the tubes in terms of songs, set changes and ideas

this coming Friday at the Eastern Edge we'll be presenting our "process creating performance by merging sound and moving images" as a part of the Rock Can Roll Festival. basically tell you all of our secrets while showing the basics of Ableton Live and where to find good source videos. there will be three other presenters. you've probably heard of them too

Conference - Eastern Edge Gallery
SESSION TWO
Artists in Session Two will discuss and demonstrate unique approaches to community building, art-making and performance.

  • 5:00pm - BlocksBlocksBlocks with Magali Meagher - Performer and musician Magali Meagher is a member of Block Recording Club and will present on their work. Blocks Recording Club is an Artist-Owned Worker’s Co-operative based in Toronto. Their goal is to work together as a musical community to help each other to record and release music.
  • 6:00pm - Volatile Works Media Collective - Glenn Gear and Brad Colbourne are both media artists and members of Montreal based Volatile Works Media Collective. They will screen and discus new work from the collective.
  • 7:00pm - Noisefold - NoiseFold is David Stout and Cory Metcalfe from Santa Fe, New Mexico. They create interactive visual-music-noise performances that draw equally from mathematics, science and the visual and sonic arts.
  • 8:00pm - Errand Boy - Errand Boy will discuss their process creating performance by merging sound and moving images.
the full schedule is available online. it's three days worth of shows and conferences; something like twelve shows. chances are you'll end up at one of them over the weekend
